Stay At Home!Liberia Imposes Curfew Over Ebola
The West African country has been one of the worst hit by the deadly disease
The government of Liberia has imposed a curfew in an area of its capital, Monrovia as part of attempts to stop the spread of the Ebola virus.
This was announced by President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf who also said that movement in and out of West Point would be stopped.
The curfew would be in effect from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am in the area which is Monrovias largest slum.
A quarantine center in West Point was attacked on Saturday by a gang of people who stole bloodied items causing widespread panic.
Liberia has lost over 400 citizens to the disease and is currently in a state of emergency.
