A9-year-old boy in Bauchi is in serious condition after his eyes were taken out by suspected ritualists.

The development was disclosed by the spokesperson of the police in the state, Haruna Mohammed, who said that the boy was attacked around the Toro Local Government Area of the state.

The victim, identified as Haruna Dahiru , was said to be tending to his cattle when he was waylaidby the unknown assailants. He has been taken to a hospital and the police have begun investigations into the incident.
