Kwakwanso Under Pressure To Declare For Presidency

The Kano State governor, Rabiu Musa Kwakwanso is being asked by a political pressure group to join the presidential race in 2015 general elections. This is because his performance has shown that he has what it takes to rule the country at a time when people are clamouring for change.

The group, the Kwakwansia Ambassadors of Nigeria (KAN) made this known at the weekend while addressing a press conference after its meeting held in Abuja where they disclosed that they have volunteered to mobilise people for the governor.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Mallam Mamam Lawal Buba said KAN has come to the conclusion that Kwakwanso would not only win the presidential primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) but could win the presidential election if he emerges the APC candidate because of his success as a governor.
We are openly calling on the governor to come out and contest for the presidency because we believe that he is very qualified for the position, he said.
