Unknown gunmen suspected to be armed robbers on Monday evening attacked a fuel station in Kaduna and killed the manager of the station and carted away unspecified amount of money.

At about 7pm, five men in a Golf car drove into the filling station, located opposite Ungwan Muazu, along Nnamdi Azikwe way, in Kaduna South Local Government Area of the state, filled their tank with petrol and suddenly brought out their guns and ordered the attendants , owner of the station, and owners of two vehicles who came to purchase fuel to submit their monies and phones and shot the manager, Stephen Anebi on his head, when he said there was no money in his possession to give, said an eye witness, Malam Ismail Musa.
According to Musa, the manager was the only person that was killed by the gunmen among five other petrol attendants, including the owner of the petrol station, Alhaji Shaibu Abubakar, and two other customers who were at the station when the incident happened.
He said, It was not quite 30 minutes when I bought fuel from the filling station when the incident occurred. I was still around the filling station but not inside the filling station, when the would- be- robbers came in, pretending to want to buy fuel.
