News Flash: Bomb Blast at Federal College of Education in Kano
According to reports, a single bomb has been detonated within the compound of the Federal Government College, Kano
Residents told newsmen that throughout the course of the day that there had been heavy fighting between men of the Boko Haram Sect and security forces.
We cannot confirm the extent of the damages resulting from the bomb blast or the possible loss of lives (current figures which has not been verified claims that 17 students lost their lives in this latest incident) and property and we hope to keep you informed of further updates.
Residents in the area before the bomb blast had earlier locked up their shops and ran away following the sound of heavy fighting.
As of the time of this report, armed security men were on their way to the Federal College of Education, Kano State.
