The Virus Continues: Newly married nurse confirmed to have Ebola in Lagos

A newly married nurse who had direct contact with late Patrick Sawyerr, the Liberian with the first case of Ebola virus in Nigeria, has tested positive to the deadly disease.According to the Minister of Health, Onyebuchi Chukwu, the husband of the nurse is among the 177 people placed under surveillance.Hesaid thatten casesof the disease have so far been confirmedin Nigeria, two of them dead while eight are alive and undergoing treatment.
A nurse who had direct contact with Patrick Sawyer died last Wednesday August6th.
