Singer 9ice Running For Seat In Federal House of Reps (PHOTO)

Singer 9ice, made popular by his hit track Gongo Aso has declared his ambition to enter into the political terrain as the country heads into another bout of general elections next year.

The singer, whose real name is Abolore Akande has been virtually absent from the music scene but recently reappeared albeit in a political capacity.
Akande has officially stated his intent towards contesting for the house of representative seat for Ogbomosho North/South/Orire federal constituency of Oyo state in the forthcoming elections.
9ice has become the latest entertainer to declare political ambition as 2015 following last weeks declaration by ace comedian Julius Agwu, and other earlier declaration by Kenny Saint Best, Desmond Elliot and Jibola Dabor.
According to a report on Vanguard newspapers on Tuesday, August 12, 2014, 9ice has not yet announced the party under which he plans to fulfill his political ambitions.
