Read Why Husband Sent Thugs To Send Mother Of Two Out Of Their Matrimonial Home In Asaba

The unthinkable happened in Asaba community in Delta State, south-south Nigeria on Wednesday, 6 August, 2014 when a 32- year- old housewife, Theresa Okolie, was sent packing from her matrimonial home by a group of suspected thugs.
According to investigation carried out by Leadership newspaper, the thugs were believed to have been hired to send the mother of two out of her matrimonial home by her husband.

It was gathered that the reason the husband decided to kick Mrs Okolie out of their home in Ogbe-Osowe quarters in Asaba, was because the victim developed an offensive body odour upon her return from the burial ceremony of her late mother-in-law in Benin-City, Edo State.
It would be recalled that sometime two months ago, a housewife in Igbodo community in Delta State was also sacked from her matrimonial home for alleged body odour, a situation that was attributed to mysterious act.
However, it was gathered that trouble started for Mrs Okolie when she started noticing rashes all over her body; a situation she thought was mere heat rashes and did not bother to follow it up.
Reports stated that when the mysterious rashes persisted, the housewife consulted a local patent medicine seller who prescribed some drugs that she immediately bought but after two weeks of use, there was no remedy.
While speaking with newsmen, the husband, who did not want his name mentioned, debunked the allegation that he hired some thugs to remove the property of his wife from the house.
According to the husband, those who removed Mrs Okolies property were not thugs rather they were his relations living in the same house.
He added that he decided to send his wife away because he couldnt help but to ask her to go and treat herself.
