Infinix Zero Launches in Nigeria, Pre-Order on Konga.com

Infinix Mobility unveiled the Infinix Zero device in Lagos, and partnered leaders in the telecommunications and ecommerce industry in Nigeria; Etisalat and Konga, to provide value for customers.

Speaking during the launch, Infinix Mobility Co-founder, Benjamin Jiang noted that the company gave customers to recommend the price of the device despite its superb specifications.
Jiang said the device were initially pegged at N50,000 while the recommendation of the customers brought it down to N20,900 and N23,900.And the device comes witha 12 month warranty.
He listed some of the features of thedevice to include:

  • 2 megapixel front camera

  • 1920mAh battery
  • Dual-SIM, dual standby, with a specially designed SIM slot
The which is set to be available in Nigeria from the first week in September 2014 can be pre-ordered on Konga now.

Commenting on the partnership with Infinix Mobility and Etisalat, the CEO of Konga, Sim Shagaya said the device is arevolutionary smartphone, that is offers great specifications for a very affordable price.
He said Infinix Zero is a device that would really denote the end of feature phone, even on the notion that the devices areavailable within the sub $150 device. And that the company is providing direct value to customers with Konga.
In his remarks, Head of Devices at Etisalat Nigeria, Lai Onafowokan affirmed that Etisalatwould give customers up to 500 megabyte for a period of 12 months when the device is purchased on Konga, and that serving customers is at the heart of Etisalatwhich is why the company is being careful in selecting partners towards providing value for customers.
Just as the inscription below the Infinix Logo puts it The future is Now, with the Infinix Zero, one can say the future of affordable devices with interesting specifications is here.
If you ask me, Infinix Zero is a smartphone with the affordability clause, attached to it. Watch this space for the unboxing of the device.
