In Nigeria, Everybodys Life Is Under Threat

Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero of Kaduna State has said that security challenges facing the country have made all Nigerians vulnerable.

He made this known in Zaria at the opening ceremony of a five-day workshop with the theme Learner-Centered Approach and Effective Classroom Management, organised by the Barewa Old Boys Association (BOBA).
His words: In Nigeria, everybodys life is under threat. We have never found ourselves in this kind of situation before. Therefore, we must work together to salvage the country.
Represented by Alhaji Yahaya Aminu, Chief of Staff in the Government House, Yero said security was integral to the existence of all humans.
The governor thanked the organisers of the workshop, saying that it would aid the growth of education in the state.
In his address, Director-General, National Teachers Institute (NTI), Dr. Ladan Sharehu, said the workshop will expose participants to effective teaching strategies.
Represented by NTIs Dean of Education, Professor Abubakar Suleiman, the DG said the workshop was borne out of the desire to equip teachers of the famous Barewa College with innovative techniques for easy teaching-learning processes.
