BREAKING NEWS: 1 Of The Doctors Who Treated Ebola Victim In Lagos Infected With The Virus

One of the doctors who attended to Ebola victim in Lagos has contracted the virus.

A Liberian man, Patrick Sawyer, was the first Ebola case in Nigeria after travelling into lagos from Liberia already infected with the deadly Ebola Virus Disease (EVD).

The minister of health, Professor Onyebuchi Chukwu, confirmed the report saying two other people under quarantine have developed symptoms of the virus but it is not certain yet if they have the disease.

Chukwu also revealed that 8 out of the 70 people established to have had contact with the late Liberian are now being quarantined.

The minister also revealed the plans of the federal government to constitute a team to find the cure for Ebola.
