Soldiers Rescue Wife Of Cameroons Vice Prime Minister Kidnapped By Boko Haram

The wife of the Vice Prime Minister of Cameroon, Amadou Ali who was kidnapped by Boko Haram has been rescued by the military in a successful operation.

She was kidnapped on Sunday, July 27, 2014 alongside a traditional ruler of Kolofata town. About six people were killed during the abduction.
According to BBC, 16 people died during the rescue operations that lasted for several hours.
The Cameroon information minister, Issa Tchiroma Bakary who disclosed the information said government has been investigating the matter to establish the actual number of those killed in the military clampdown and rescue operations, the abducted woman was successfully rescued.
