Shiite, Soldiers Clash: El-Zakzaky Releases Names Of Casualties


The Islamic Movement in Nigeria yesterday released the names of their members killed by the soldiers in Zaria on Friday.

Soldier had last week opened fire on members of the Shiites Islamic sect who were carrying their annual procession in Zaria.
The leader of the movement, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky whose three of children were killed released the list of the casualties.
The casualties, who he described as Martyrs 2014 include: Sayyid Ahmad Zakzaky, Sayyid Hamid Zakzaky, Sayyid Mahmud Zakzaky, Musa Soba, Haidar Muhammad U/gwado, Abdulbasit U/jaba, Alh. Atiku Zaria, Haruna Sufi Dogarawa, Sadisu Salisu Tanimu U/noma, Kabiru Alaramma Muciya, Usman Ridwan Zaria, Zainulabidin K/dangoma, Alaramma Alhassan U/kanawa, Shamwilu Bashir Funtuwa, Adamu Shitu Barwa, Zulaihat Sani, Yusuf Abdulqadir, Mansur Ahmad Bilbis and Haruna Ahmad T/wada.
Others include Abubakar Sabati T/jukun, Shafiu Tsugugi, Umar Dambo, Ishaqa Abdullahi Muciya, Ahmad Habib Dabai, Zakariyya A/gwado, Aisha Muktar Kudan, Ismail Bashir Wuciciri, Ibrahim Muktar S/gari, Salisu Mati Maradi, Mujtaba k/malam Karaye, Husaini Muhammad Zabi and one casualty yet to be identified.
Meanwhile our Correspondent gathered that an Igbo trader and his sale girl were among the people killed by the military bullet.
Sources in Zaria told our Correspondent that the two casualties were killed by the Militia stray bullet inside their shops as the time of the fracas.
The Igbo man and his sales girl were inside their shop when during the fracas, said our source security source.
