Oyo Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, Urged LGs To Employ More Teachers, Other Workers In Fight Against Unemployment
Oyo State Governor, Abiola Adeyemi Ajimobi,
ordered local government areas to exert more efforts in the fight
against youth unemployment in the state.

The Caretaker Committee Chairmen in all the 33 local government
councils in the state was ordered to reduce the unemployment rate by
employing more teachers and other categories of workers.
The directive, that is a part of Ajimobi administration’s efforts at
reducing youth unemployment in the state, was announced during regular
meeting attended by members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth
League and Ajimobi Youth Forum.
“This administration would soon commence distribution of raw food
items to the people of the state in order to cushion the effect of
poverty and hunger,” he said.
The governor once again called on youths to support his
administration, promising to ensure fair distribution of the dividends
of democracy.
