Osun PDP Debunks Rumors Of Omisores Ill-Health, Medical Treatment Abroad

Contrary to reports making the rounds that the Flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the August 9, 2014 governorship election in Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore was sick and has been flown abroad, the states chapter of the party has stated that he (Omisore) is hale and hearty.

Chairman of the party, Alhaji Gani Olaoluwa, in a release made available to journalists yesterday in Osogbo, urged the public to disregard the baseless and unfounded report, saying Omisore attended a meeting of the partys Committee on Strategy and did not betray any signs of ill-health.

The meeting, which ratified the appointment of Prof. Wale Oladipo as National Secretary of PDP representing the South-West, was also attended by the party chairman; Omisores running mate, Adejare Bello; Oladipo; Minister of Police Affairs, Dr Abdul-Jelili Adesiyan and Prince Francis Ade Fadahunsi, among others.

The PDP chairman said if anyone was in doubt about Omisores health, he would be in Olaoluwa Local Government to campaign.
