German Principal Abducted In Adamawa

A German, who is a principal of a technical skill acquisition centre in Gombi, Adamawa state was on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 abducted by gunmenriding on motorcycles, Wednesday morning, abducted a German in Gombi town of Adamawa State.

According to a resident who spoke with The Trent, the incident occurred at about 7 a.m. at Anguwan Faransa area of the town.
The man, known as Mr Nachi was on his way to work when he was abducted. He is very famous in town and trains students on technical and vocational skills without a fee.
An eyewitness speaking to the press said: The abductors laid siege on his house, and they came on motorcycles. As soon as the man came out and was about to get into his car, two persons on foot approached him and pointed a gun at him. They now called the two other sets of people on motorcycles who approached them and they carried him away on their motorcycle.
Almost everybody in this town knows him because he helps us a lot, especially in the area of repairing the towns water bore holes. Most of the time he uses his own money to buy equipment and repair our boreholes.
The German Embassy is yet to confirm the incident. The police is also yet to make a statement on the incident.
