2015: Why Jonathan Will Win Amb Bagudu, Abba Gana, Others

The rumbles and defections that followed the convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will give President Goodluck Jonathan the edge to win the election by 2015, former minister of Foreign Affairs, Bagudu Hirse, has posited.

Also, former minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Engr Muhammed Abba-Gana declared that President Goodluck Jonathan is a good candidate for the PDP, even though there is work to be done by the party.

Amb. Bagudu, and Gana stated these when they, under the aegis of Mandate Group, paid a courtesy call on the political adviser to the president, Prof Rufai Ahmed Alkali, in his office in Abuja.

Other members of the group that came for the visit are former minister of Information, John Odey; Obadia Ando, Emmanuel Ogidi, Chief Chinedu Maduagwu, Mrs Onyekaba Rosemary, Dr Uche Okafor Cijeyu Ojong and Dr Iby Ofem.

Amb. Bagudu noted that the disenchantment that trailed the opposition party convention signalled a victory fait accompli for Jonathan.
